The heart of bronto photography is New England based and internationally exhibited photographer Josh, who resides in Providence, RI. A Providence native, he attended Rhode Island School of Design as a photography major, where he attended the prestigious european honors program in italy. Exhibitions include shows in New England, New York, rome, Paris, and digitally in budapest.
Initially intrigued by the decay of society under capitalism, his journey into photography began with the exploration and capture of various abandoned structures throughout the country. Once he began to pursue an academic interest in photography, it evolved into studies of power dynamics of the roles associated with those behind and in front of the camera, as well as what can be conveyed through simple images and symbolism.

After the sudden passing of his mother, his work took a pivot toward introspection and the processing of trauma in a post-capitalist society.
Today, Josh seeks to capture raw moments in time from the mundane to the extraordinary, the melancholy to the beatific, and everything in between. He continues to work in portrait, event, and wedding photography, while also creating his own personal work.
